STILL WAITING

13th August 2014

Just as we expected would happen.
It has been 16 days since the meeting with the representative from Companion Care and still no sign of the cheque they said they would, because of the lack of customer care shown send as a goodwill gesture!

So Companion Care, I ask you. Where is that cheque for the money you took from me when you failed to treat my Lilly and sent her home to die and when you cold heartedly told me to get out or you would call the police.. Where is the reimbursement of the money you believe you had a right to take? Despite it being ethically and morally wrong.
The whole world is able to read this and all we have to do is up the interest in the site to make it more visible. You made a verbal agreement to issue that cheque all be it for only Half the money you charged me and took from me.
Having to pay for the privilege of watching my pet slowly die is bad enough, knowing you took the payment as a reward (because that is what a payment is a reward for goods, services given) is DISGUSTING.
If you think I will beg you are wrong and if you think I will take the site down you are wrong.
As I said before and as I told your rep when she told me the site needed to come down. YOU CONTROLL what is on here by your actions. If the site reads NEGATIVELY it is because YOU are behaving in such a a way.The public are only reading and seeing what you your selves are doing.

Below is a copy of the email that was sent to companion care today. So far not even a email recived message from them!!!!!

Dear Stephanie Bryan

Head of operations, west

As you will know it has been some sixteen days now since we met regarding my complaint against companion care .In that informal meeting you stated that as I would not take the site in Memory of Lilly down, you would only reimburse half the cost I was billed for Lilly. It was verbally agreed it would be for an amount equal to that charged and received by the treating vets In Chippenham. It was to be paid as a goodwill payment because the treatment/customer service from the Chippenham branch had not met standards!. You will recall you even asked if In needed bereavement counselling. Something I turned down and told you should have, if being offered, been offered at the time. Rather then the abuse I was given by the staff. Despite receiving the letter from you saying you will arrange for the cheque to be issued and returning back to you an enclosed note of acceptance .I have heard nothing else. Neither a cheque as agreed nor so much as an apology from the  Head vet at Chippenham or her receptionist both of whom were beyond rude to me .Why.

Understandably we are now left beliving their "goodwill" partial reinbursment is just as unlikely to appear as the medical treatment and help we requested for Lilly was.
We may be wrong and if the cheque does arrive we will say so on here but it seems they were as genuine with their "goodwill" offer as a cat is when he tells the mouse in his mouth he just wishes to be friends.

Update
14th August 2014
At 08.55 am this morning I recived a phone call from comapnion care customer services.
Its Nice to know they have been reading  the updates on this site and the face book updates. Because with out such they would never have even reinbursed that part.
Stephanie Bryan is I am told on anual leave. I can wait untill she returns and have a cheque issued or give my bank details and they will pay the goodwill/ partial reinbursment into my account. Bank details are of course given.
The account was checked this afternoon ,and that partail reinbursment has been paid in to the account.
And that was with out me signing their document that expected me to accept it as full staisfactory payment for lillys treatement

There has however still been NO appolagy from either the treating vet  Silvia Espinola  Folguera or From Head vet Amy Jane Blackmore for her appauling attitude and the way she threatend to call the police on me and told me to get out.

Oddly enough a call was also recived late this afternoon from the RCVS to let us know they have recived my complaint. They will look at it and then get back to me if they intend to take action.
On this we hold out very little hope . A new page will if required be added for the updates on this..

Update 19th September 2014
As we knew would be the case and as was so evident by the cocky attitude of the vets when shouting I should leave or they would call the police. NO action will be taken by the RCVS as it is beyond their remit. Because the vet looked at Lilly the diagnosis and outcome of that diagnosis rightly or wrongly means no action by them will be taken. as they can only take action for  serious miss conduct ie Not looking at her!!
I can however they say look at taking private legal action. As if that will help or stop such vets behaving in this way again.Basicaly when your vet gets it wrong your stuffed.
